GMCC at Hamcon 2025
Please complete this poll to let us know if you’re going to be attending the dinner on Friday: https://forms.gle/LtkjJwjhf96ffUdB8
The HAMCON committee has put together what should be a very memorable gathering with some great forums, notable guest speakers, DX University, W1AW/0 station(s) and more !
GMCC will be sponsoring both the CW & SSB Pileup competitions slated for sometime Saturday. DX Engineering (along with GMCC) has graciously chipped in on some valuable gift certificates for the winners of both competitions. This event is likely to also be an opportunity to recruit some new GMCC members. GMCC will also have it’s own club table set up in the main area.
In addition, GMCC will be having a Friday night dinner at Citrolas Italian restaurant very close to the event venue. (www.citrolasgi.com<http://www.citrolasgi.com>) Since GMCC encompasses such a large geographic area, it’s rare that we have an opportunity for a face to face gathering.
So if you’ve already registered, GREAT !, but please let me know if you plan to join us for dinner Friday evening (tentatively ~ 5:30pm) so we can provide a head count total to Citrolas.
And if you haven’t registered for HAMCON, please give it your consideration. (Yes I know this is the same weekend as CQWW SSB, but there will be the W1AW/0 station(s) on the air providing a fantastic opportunity to introduce newbies to contesting !)
I look forward to seeing everyone from GMCC that plan to attend.
